It is opening night! "Another Openin', Another Show" features vocal soloist Lee Wenger along with talented musicians from our Peoria high schools. Mayor James Ardis is our celebrity emcee as the 73rd season gets underway.

This week the spectacular Morton Civic Chorus, led by Denise Adams, performs with the band. Wednesday we will "Sing, Sing, Sing" and on Sunday night we will "Honor the Flag" in anticipation of Flag Day.
Wednesday, June 16 & Sunday, June 20 @ 7:30 p.m.
It will "Theme Like Old Times" when Dirk McGinnis returns to sing. Dirk will be joined by newcomer vocalist Jessica Wisner and fabulous trumpeter Randy Cooksey. Bring dad to the concert on Sunday to celebrate "Fathers Day". Celebrities from WXCL 104.9 The Wolf will be on hand to emcee.

"Lions and Tigers and Bears, Oh My!" Rebekah Bourland sings with the band and Denise Cooksey comes forward to dazzle you with the sounds of the flute.

St. Philomena Catholic Church
The band is "Out About Town" this evening for a one hour performance at St. Philomena Catholic Church. Join our "miniband" and Rebekah Bourland for a great community event. The band has performed here the last couple years and there is food, friendship and of course, music!
Sunday, June 27 @ 7:30 p.m.
Rebekah Bourland will be here to sing and Denise Cooksey will bring her flute. All in all we will just be "Struttin' With Some Barbecue" on a beautiful summer evening. Come hear all the tasty musical offerings that will spoil your diet. Mr. Marc Burnett the Director of Marketing and Sales at the Peoria Civic Center is our guest emcee.

On Wednesday evening we will be "On the Road Again" and travel the highways and waterways of America. Saturday night is the big Fireworks show that is a tradition in Central Illinois. The lovely and talented Linden Christ is our featured vocalist. The Big Three return from the trumpet section bringing with them a Bugler's Holiday.

"Down On the Riverfront" is our theme tonight so that you will remember to find us downtown on the CEFCU stage for our 7:30 p.m. performance. Crowd favorite Deb Austin is our featured vocalist and you will also get to hear the winner of the John Kamarer Youth Soloist Competition.

We are back in Glen Oak Park tonight for "Classics, Classics, Classics". Deb Austin will sing and the winner of the John Kamarer Youth Soloist Competition will perform as well. The music tonight is old and new but it will last for generations to come.

We are back on the Illinois River with that beautiful view to enjoy some music from "On Broadway". A double treat this week with two great vocalists. Libby Snyder is our "newcomer" while Rebecca Meyer returns for another season performance. From the back of the band Mr. Dan Weil comes forward to perform a spectacular euphonium solo.

Libby and Rebecca are here to sing and Dan will play once again. Joining the band this evening will be musicians from the Peoria Park District Senior Summer Band directed by Ms. Peggy Bonner. Our emcee for the evening is Mr. Scott Wheeler, co-host of the morning show on 91.5, WCIC.

"It's Parents Day" at Glen Oak Park so bring mom and dad out for a night of beautiful music. Jodi returns with her saxophone and our celebrity guest emcee for the evening is Mr. Lee Ranson. He anchors Live at Five and News 25 at Six. There will be a vocalist as well - but who?

It is our final evening on the Riverfront as we visit "The Wild, Wild West." Beth Heuermann makes her annual trip from New York City to Peoria to sing for you. Our instrumental soloist is out of the horn section - Ms. Laurel Filzen Etzel.

"The Land of Lincoln" is explored on Wednesday evening and then on Sunday you could say "It is the Gospel". Mr. Greg Etzel sets aside the bass trombone this week to sing for you. Our featured instrumental soloist is out of the clarinet section - you will enjoy the amazing ability of Mr. Maury Beelman.

"Dance, Dance, Dance" on Wednesday evening with our vocalists for the week Erin Durbin and Libby Young Moore. Angela Loring is our outstanding instrumental soloist this week on flute. Sunday night will feature some 100's in "Centennial Celebrations"!
